Live in production
Caseload triage view
Your assigned students, sorted by current risk: GPA trajectory, attendance decline, recent discipline, missing assignments. At-risk surfaced at the top — automatically.
Every item below is live in production. We pilot at El Camino Real Charter — you can demo the running system before signing anything.

The architecture decisions that protect this role specifically, not the generic security copy.
The most common LMS failure mode for counselors: any counselor can view anystudent. Nova doesn't. Each counselor sees only their assigned caseload. URL-hacking into another counselor's student record redirects you out — and the attempt is logged with your user ID and IP. Admins see denied-attempt counts on their dashboard.
Your intervention notes — the most sensitive narrative records in the system — are AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest with a key kept outside the database. Even a database leak shows ciphertext for these notes.
The AI counselor assistant only sees students in your caseload. When you ask it "who's declining this month," the data Anthropic processes is yours alone. Every AI call is logged with content hashes for parent transparency requests.
We talked to counselors at four schools before designing this. If you're a counselor whose admin won't switch LMS — send them this page.
